Attracting Love

Time:   Best done during a waxing moon.

Items Needed: Two light green, light blue, or pink candles; Love or rose oil; Love or rose powder; love incense; a few rose petals.

Instructions:   It is best to never do magic to make another person love you.  Not only will you invite negative karma, but you will have great difficulty getting that person to stay in love with you.  Instead, scratch your name on one of the candles, and “unknown lover” on the other candle.  Oil the candles, and set them side by side on your alter.  Sprinkle the powder in a heart shape around the candles.  Scatter the rose petals within the heart shape.  Light the candles.  Chant the verse three times.

Chant:   Kissed by the stars in the heavens,

Warmed by the sun above,

All spirits of joy and happiness,

Bring me my own true love.
